four girls, a guy, and a drunkard
okayy this is the best title i can think of now that summarizes my eventful dayy yesterday. ahh it's 909am now and i have to hurry before i get late for work!!
okay so yesterday four pretty ladies came to bongout. hahaha and they were so luCkyy cuz our lady boss, setsuko-san, wasn't around. so michiyo-san, who can be considered as one of the "permanent" staff, treated them to hot coffee because "they are my friends". i was quite surprised actuallyy. haha and when the magurozuke came out, she told andy (the cook), "aye why so little? there are four people eating!" woahh my first time hearing that. and i guess it was partly cuz it was super empty yesterday so we had time to make these changes. so sheralyn-tachi, next time u come eat sashimi, please do not complain if ur maguro isn't as much as wad u all had last night.
and then, glen, who is flying off the australia soon, came with his wife and his primary school friend. and he hadn't met his pri school friend for 18 years until a few months ago. omg how amazing is that. but they still remained as good friends. and he invited me to a bbq at east coast park this saturday. hmm and he told me that there will be many high profile japanese and people there so "i'd better be there". so why not? haha i'll be there!
but there's one thing i don't understand, he told me that he'd be leaving three days later, which means on thursday. den how is he going to attend the bbq? If he's not going, den i'll be the lonely soul there! nonono... i dun wan....
and glen-tachi stayed till 1030 and by then, i guess he was quite drunk alreadyy, as evident in the way he spoke and how he couldn't stand straight. and then at this point in time, something interesting happened!
glen made a casual remark, "let's go drink after this, at yoyogi!" and i thought it was really casual and not to be taken seriously, esp when he was drunk.
but to my surprise, michiyo replied spontaneously, "oh sure, if you want to drink, let's go."
and then i thought michiyo was joking too, trying just to reply to glen's question, knowing that he wasn't really awake then.
so when michiyo finally closed the restaurant's door at 1030pm, i asked rui, who rushed back to pass her the keys, "so are you taking taxi home again now?"
and rui said, "eh, no, i thought we are going to drink or something?"
oh my goodness! everyone was so serious and enthusiastic abt it! so we left bongout and proceeded to yoyogi, some izakaya mitai na... pub, but it was closed. and glen, being drunk, brought us to the pub next to it, thinking that it was yoyogi. and after five minutes inside, he realized that it wasn't yoyogi, so we went to some other bar called the "en bar". and glen started talking rubbish to the waitress (cuz he was drunk), and i thought it was quite rude. haha and then after much discussion, we sat down to drink. just when i thought we will have a great time chatting, glen started blabbering non-stop in japanese and scolding rui, saying that japanese youngsters are immature and they think that they know a lot but actually they don't. and stuff like that, and he was specifically targetting rui. haha n rui was so poor thing! being blasted for no reason. so when glen's pri sch friend (i don't know his name) tried to calm things down, he was asking rui, "did u say something wrong? or are u speaking in a bitchy manner?" hahaha and rui was quite surprised when he said "bitchy". but anywayy, at around 1140pm, we decided that there was no point staying on if he continues spouting rubbish, so we went home!
